The total solar eclipse reaches the state at 1:02 p.m. CDT and exits at 1:09 p.m.
Our best estimate is that the centerline in the northeast corner of the state is the closest destination for 120,000 people. The reason that this is not a higher number is because the centerline in Nebraska or Missouri is closer for many Kansans.
